What keeps you strong

Well, went to church on Sunday and got a new perspective on the 2 men who built houses, one on the rocks, one on the sand. When the storm came, the house built on sand (i.e. without a strong basis of faith) was washed away, while the one on the rocks (strong faith in Jesus) stood through the storm. The new perspective was that the same storm hit both of them, with the same intensity, but faith helped the one make it through. Being Christians doesn't protect us from the storms, but it helps us make it through. (See: Matthew 7:24-27). Our God is an awesome God!
