Hiiii YAH!

R has been asking to take karate and has been dancing around the house doing karate chops for weeks now. We finally tried a lesson and she loved it. It consisted mostly of running and jumping, with a few punches and blocks thrown in, but she announced on the way home: Mommy, I'm so good I'm practically a black tie!

Wow, it's been a long time since I was able to sit down and write. Life is zooming by and the girls are growing up so fast.

Example 1:
R (age 4) - Mommy, I LOVE the Jonas Brothers. They are so cute.
And I'm thinking: Teddy bears are cute at age 4, NOT the Jonas Brothers! Curse you, Disney!

Example 2:
K (age 9), on the way home from camp - ...and there was a dance with the boys' camp and I got to dance with 6 boys, and two of them were real hotties!
Again I'm thinking: jalapenos are hot, boys should still have cooties.
